In Search Of Motivation

Born in China and lives in Vancouver, Jia Jie Chen is a digital illustrator who primarily creates anime-influenced illustrations. Following the growing industry of anime-influenced games in China, He started his learning of digital drawing during high school. He then expanded his study of illustration at Emily Carr University of Art. Jia Jie’s works often involve large chunks of flat colors and undefined shapes. His works also use an abstract combination of objects to convey a special sense of the character and the scene.
