TASTCATION

Tastcation is an interactive gamification recipe and director of food culture. It engages users to remote cooking with friends, realize the culture and history through the interesting storytelling cooking process.
Why TASTCATION?
Food is an important part of the culture. Traditional cuisine is passed down from one generation to the next. It also operates as an expression of cultural identity. It can also be a significant behavior in food culture transmission. Dining and food-related socializing and people are increasingly focusing on heightening the experience of all aspects of food.
After researches, People will spend more time cooking at home with family than I expected before. This is another design opportunity for the design idea remote “share kitchen.”
There are lots of young people who choose to move out of their hometown and live in a strange city alone for work or study. They lost the opportunities to enjoy the family cooking and dining time. Also, 2020 Global restrictions on the freedom of movement were put in place to help contain the spread of the virus. Covid 19 change our lifestyle; remote online collaboration brings us close together. But why not remote share kitchen? I hope no matter where people are, my design can bring one closer to the other through this interactive food journey.
Challenge
To design a remote digital service app under the behavior and distance restrictions. Also approach Gamification of the cooking process combined with socialization, remote cooperation, and study of diversity culture.
