Nightmare

Some people say that dreams are a portrayal of the heart, while others say that dreams and reality are the opposite. I am a person who loves to dream while sleeping. Most people have difficulty remembering their dreams. Through the “how to remember my dreams” I learned on the Internet, I have this work after constant practice. The work originated from my long-term continuous nightmare. I think human dreams are amazing. No one can clearly explain it so far, but as an artist, I think that I can show you my work through my hands. This is what makes me proud.

I am an Illustrator, designer, and tattooer based in Vancouver, BC. I am majoring in Visual Art focus on painting and designing. I began with traditional drawing and design on paper, then I soon transitioned into digital I enjoy play with digital work, but most of my artwork is hand-drawn.   As an artist, usually I like to combine real stories as the background to create, and I also often incorporate some Chinese elements in my works, Most of my motivation for creating is to inspire people in the form of stories. Under the premise of creating a story as a background, I can get more inspiration through research. Sometimes I will create some creations based on my emotions at that time. My artwork not only for me but for people who have the same feelings as me. I usually mix materials in my work but I really like the experience and feeling that oil painting gives me.
